History of Rap #2
I’ve just come across a series of videos where Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon are dancing and doing a montage’ in the history of rap. I have to share now!

Let’s go back. Back to when blacks were even recognized in cartoons. However, back in those days this was the “appropriate depiction”. Now all these cartoons are banned to show that they never even existed thus eliminating the presence of a forced culture they decided to mock in the first place. Even the modern cartoon depictions such as “Princess and the Frog” still show a southern almost uneducated cooking girl such as this one. They can’t read and write because they are not allowed to be educated. They can work, cook, and kill. They aren’t pretty because they are dark. If the women have curvy bodies, they are whores. If they have big bodies they are nasty. Their men are extravagant in their ways of “ridiculous” clothes, and unprecedented fashions. My question is how much of this is fiction, but how much is fact? How can we as a society grow when expressing yourself turns from art to sheer ignorance. When “tawkiinn lyk disz is c’n ass kUt3” and dressing like you have no self respect is you doing what you want with your body. Congratulations on turning what was once a prejudice and stereotype of a race into a reality.
